Around the middle of February I was contacted by a games journalist who had heard of 2b2t, seen some of the posts on Reddit and subsequently, saw our post announcing map.jamesrustles.com. So we got talking and on the 25th of February, I gave him a 2 hour tour of 2b2t via voice call.

2 hours isn't that much to take in a 5 year history but we did really well. We saw the spawn, SIB, Ziggybase and 9K farm. Unfortunately I was not on my main account and thus quite poor but we had enough carrots and melons :)

He wrote a fantastic article that captures just what it's like to join 2b2t. It's also a very balanced article, unlike some of the previous ones others have written...

They say when it rains, it pours! Right after announcing the Maps feature on jamesrustles.com, we are now happy to introduce history.jamesrustles.com!

This area will host many archived 2b2t items such as websites, forums, image galleries and more. At the moment it is hosting the 2b2t Website as it looked last November 2015, right before it went down whilst preparing the new design.

As history.jamesrustles.com gets updated, we may write posts announcing the changes.

Hello! It has been a little while since I posted hasn't it? Well that's because I have been working on a few 2b2t related things.

I'm happy to announce a new section to jamesrustles.com, the 2b2t maps! These are a collection of interactive 'GoogleMap' style maps of various places on 2b2t. It is also mobile-ready just like the blog is.

It is launching with a map of spawn. This map was updated on the 25th of January and extends 1000 blocks from 0,0. As time goes on, more maps will be added, one will be a larger spawn map, around 4000 blocks out from the center and maps of some bases too.
